Candidates must hold ARRT certification, a valid state license, and CPR/BLS certification, with experience in X-ray and general radiology and comfort with digital and traditional equipment. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging, while maintaining privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Valid state license to perform radiologic procedures.
• Experience with X-ray and general radiology techniques.
• Familiar with digital imaging systems and traditional equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions.
• Adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinical settings.
• BLS or CPR certification.
• Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures according to physician orders.
• Position patients safely to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain imaging protocols and hospital regulations.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Document procedures and protect patient confidentiality.
• Assist with patient transfers and provide emotional support during imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for coordinated care.
• Monitor imaging areas for cleanliness and safe operation.
