Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging exams and ensure high-quality results. You will work with radiologists, physicians, and care teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS. Preferred candidates have 1–2 years radiology experience and IV certification. Denver-area posting with 36 hours weekly and evening/night/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Radiologic Technologist license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• May be required to complete the MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies orders, and ensures correct identification for exams.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains safety.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care or quality; assists students and staff.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort; addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.
