Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure high-quality results. The role requires ARRT(R) certification, state licensure, and BLS, with 1–2 years of radiology experience preferred.

The 36-hour weekly schedule includes shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams while maintaining safety standards and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(R) certification and state license required.
  • BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
  • May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as an MA in clinic or InstaCare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
  • Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
  • Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
  • Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
  • Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
  • Provides appropriate patient education and addresses concerns.
