Virtua is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an acute care float position covering all divisions as needed. The role runs 8:00–4:30, Sunday through Thursday, and focuses on rehabilitative treatments supervised by a licensed physical therapist, with ongoing data collection on patient progress.

Formación

• Minimum Physical Therapy Assistant Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with medical, ancillary professionals and other team members to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.
• Provide physical therapy interventions aligned with the plan of care and give feedback to the supervising therapist on patient progress.
• Maintain and complete patient records and all required documentation in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Effectively utilize aides and other support staff as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families, providing literature tailored to age, condition, and cultural needs.
