Virtua in New Jersey seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant for an acute care float position across divisions, Sundays through Thursdays, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. You will perform rehabilitative treatments under a Physical Therapist and document patient progress.

Collaborate with the care team, assist with operations, maintain records, educate patients and families, and ensure care complies with guidelines. Requires PTA associate degree, NJ licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum PTA Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program.
• Current licensure in New Jersey.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Consult with medical and rehab team to provide quality patient care.
• Provide PT interventions per plan of care and give feedback on patient status.
• Maintain and complete patient records and documentation in a timely manner.
• Utilize aides and support staff effectively.
• Educate patient and family per age, condition and cultural needs.
