Carle Health in Urbana, Illinois is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our 9-month Post-Graduate Fellowship in Acute Care Hospitalist program. The APP fellow will train in Hospital Medicine, collaborate with internal medicine residency, ED and multiple specialty rotations to enhance acute care education.

The position is based in Champaign-Urbana with potential for permanent employment contingent on performance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ACNP or ARC-PA program.
• For APRNs, current Illinois RN/APRN license and certification before start date.
• For PAs, NCCPA-certified state PA license and PANCE.
• BLS certification.

Overview

Carle Health's Graduate Medical Education department is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Post‑Graduate Fellowship in Acute Care Hospitalist program in Urbana, Illinois.

Carle’s fellowship is a 9‑month post‑graduate specialty training program for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. The APP Fellowship includes a core program of Hospital Medicine, collaboration with internal medicine residency, ED and numerous specialty rotations intended to enhance acute care education. The program provides the APP fellow with an opportunity to further develop critical thinking used to make sound clinical judgments and function at the top scope of practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $47.50 per hour. This range is a good faith minimum and maximum at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
