Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA program with an accredited credential.
• Connecticut state licensure required.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques appropriate for the patient population.
• Documents treatment interventions.
• May coordinate activities of rehab aides, students and other support personnel.
• Communicates and documents information relevant to patient care for quality service and reimbursement.
• Demonstrates efficient use of products, supplies and time to meet productivity targets.
• Follows safety precautions to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
