Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered therapy. The role involves documenting notes, adapting treatments based on progress, and ensuring safety and dignity for patients across age groups.

You will identify safety concerns and coordinate with the PT aide as directed, while contributing to a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in relevant field is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the applicable State Board.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Support the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy services.
• Modify treatments based on patient progress and document patient notes.
• Provide safe and effective therapy addressing age-specific needs with respect and dignity.
• Identify safety concerns and coordinate workload under supervision of PT.
• Provide technical guidance to the Physical Therapy aide as directed.
