Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist at Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA. The PT provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for acute care, post-surgical, and medically complex patients, working closely with the care team to promote mobility and safe discharge planning.

Responsibilities include documenting care, developing individualized therapy plans, and supporting evidence-based practice to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility preferred.
• Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current California license or eligible; BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Preparatory Data Gathering: Obtains physician order and reviews patient records.
• Evaluation Skills: Performs comprehensive evaluations and sets realistic goals.
• Treatment Skills: Designs and implements individualized therapy programs.
• Discharge: Communicates progress and coordinates transition to home or next care setting.
