Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• VA licensure or compact privileges required on start.
• BLS certification required on start.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily progress notes reflecting patient responses and treatment status.
• Communicates with families, physicians and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Provides instruction and supervision to support staff per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Applies therapeutic techniques during evaluations and throughout treatment, updating plans as needed.
• Assumes responsibility for PT patient management from initial contact to discharge.
• Develops goals and treatment plans based on evaluations and input from patients and teams.
