Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive inpatient PT services in an acute care hospital setting. Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in North Dakota.
• Current driver's license required and car available to travel to patient's home.
• Strongly prefer 2 years previous experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Meets physical and emotional demands of the position.
• Demonstrates a caring and respectful attitude in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and clinical findings.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance in medically complex patients.
• Monitor patient response and modify care plans to ensure safe progression of therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, and rehabilitation professionals to support coordinated care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on mobility techniques, safety precautions, equipment use, and post-discharge exercise programs.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in the electronic medical record.
