Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist specializing in Acute-Care. You will provide evaluation, plan and deliver treatment for patients referred to Physical Therapy, and document care while educating patients, families, hospital staff and students.

You will contribute to clinical research and education, strive for quality care, and support the Medical Center’s mission. Full-time days, with some weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital acute care setting preferred.
• ICU experience preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, program planning and treatment for patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Document care and educate patients, families, hospital staff and students.
• Participate in enhancement of the profession, the facility, and self through quality care, clinical research and education.
• Ensure patients reach maximum potential through quality care and input to medical management; support professional growth.
