Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital acute care setting.
• Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
• To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education.
• Ensures patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through quality care and input to medical management.
