Job summary

Saint Mary's Regional Health System in Russellville, AR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Acute care on a part-time basis. You will work under pharmacist supervision to prepare and label medication orders, deliver meds to units, and support safe medication distribution.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and familiarity with automated dispensing systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, active State Board registration, and CPHT if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; active State Board registration as applicable by state.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) if required by state regulations.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail; able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label patient-specific medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver medications to medication rooms, units, and automated dispensing cabinets.
• Review MAR and admissions to plan restocking and delivery needs.
• Restock and organize returned medications and IVs per procedures.
• Replenish automated dispensing machines and document activities per policy.
• Monitor inventory, communicate stock needs, and assist with ordering.
• Support medication-use safety and compliance with proper documentation.
