Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily medication processing and teamwork with healthcare staff. You will help ensure accurate dispensing, participate in compounding tasks as required, and maintain essential supplies and equipment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration in a high-volume setting. Ideal candidates will have MN/ND training pathways, board registrations, and a plan for pursuing or maintaining CPhT certification.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician- Acute Care Level I training or on-the-job.
• MN/ND location requirements and board registration expectations.
• Maintain CPhT or be enrolled in Pharm.D./intern path as applicable.
• Provide compliance with state boards and employer training programs.

Responsibilities

• Process medications and verify accuracy for patients.
• Interact with and assist the healthcare team for optimal use.
• Perform inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
• Support non-sterile and/or sterile compounding duties.
• Operate and troubleshoot automation systems as needed.
• Take on other duties delegated by the pharmacist or leadership.
