Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with activities of daily living, take vital signs, and help maintain a safe, healing environment.

The role offers 36 hours per week with day shifts (7am-7:30pm), weekend and holiday rotations, and benefits eligibility. Prior CNA or nursing assistant experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as a CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Assists with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Documents patient information and supports patient safety and comfort.
• Participates in rotations and collaborates with the care team.
