Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Rehab Team on a per diem, part-time basis. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient evaluations, direct treatment, and documentation for referrals.

The Occupational Therapist will perform evaluations, establish goals, and develop treatment plans while effectively communicating progress to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited school.
• Current State of CT license.
• Strong Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides full scope of direct and clinical services necessary to maximize the care for patients of all ages.
• Communicates results of assessment or treatment program to patient, family, and care providers; provides training as needed.
• Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills and diverse clinical service across sites/units.
• Maintains communication with the treatment team to facilitate problem solving, planning and education.
