Requires COTA licensure in Texas, BLS, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role may involve supervising therapy technicians and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualificações

• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• COTA credential issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 months of hire date.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Implements established treatment plans and documents patient progress.
• Monitors patient response and communicates progress to the occupational therapist.
• Educates patients and families about deficits and discharge planning.
• May oversee therapy technicians as per regulations and standards.
