Job summary

Fairview East Bank University Hospital in Minneapolis is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team. You will evaluate patients, collaborate with families, and create individualized care plans within the multidisciplinary setting.

The role emphasizes safe, evidence-based care and active participation in education and quality initiatives. You will work three days per week with a weekend rotation and enjoy comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required or preferred.
• OT license in Minnesota required. Temporary MN license acceptable.
• Current BLS certification required or equivalent.
• NBCOT certification preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and reevaluates patients to determine needs and goals.
• Gathers pertinent data and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinates care with patients, families and interdisciplinary team for outcomes.
• Establishes discharge plans and follows up on patient progress.
• Documents care in a timely, accurate manner and adheres to billing standards.

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy License in Minnesota

BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

NBCOT Certification
