Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN, is actively seeking an Acute Care Orthopedic Nurse. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with providers, and follow the Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage model to improve outcomes and patient experience.

You will assess on admission and each shift, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required with active TN license or eligibility.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition at admission and every shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests and needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
