We are seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist for our Oncology floors, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves planning, evaluating, organizing, and implementing Physical Therapy (PT) treatment programs tailored to patients from infancy through adulthood.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete patient evaluations and reassessments following hospital and department guidelines
• Develop individualized care plans based on evaluation findings
• Provide clinical support within outpatient or specialty programs
• Mentor less experienced staff in your area of specialty
• Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record, with minimal errors
• Serve as a clinical instructor for at least one professional student annually
• Report unsafe situations, injuries, problems, or unusual occurrences to management
• Participate in quality improvement activities

Note: All successful applicants will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety.

Skills & Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy
• PT certification from the state of Texas
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (preferred)
• Two years of clinical experience or one year of residency experience (preferred)
