Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to evaluate plans and administer therapy for referred patients in an acute care setting. You will provide rehabilitation services, develop goals, and implement treatment programs aligned with patient needs and physician referrals.

The role emphasizes ADL/IADL re-engagement, safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including supervising OT/COTA students as needed. Licensure in PA or NJ is required.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the relevant state (PA or NJ) is required.
• Doctorate degree preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Performs occupational therapy examination and develops realistic goals for patients.
• Implements therapeutic exercises and modalities and revises treatment plans as needed.
• Discharges planning and patient/family education in home programs.
• Maintains accurate documentation (evals, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and may supervise OT/ COTA students.

Education

Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey, based on work location is required.

Doctorate Degree preferred.
