Job summary

154 Aurora Health Care North, Inc. seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide per diem clinical coverage in Acute Care Rehabilitation at Manitowoc County. The position may include outpatient hours based on experience, with sick leave coverage and weekend commitments.

You will evaluate referrals, develop and implement plans of care, fabricate devices as needed, and coordinate discharge planning. Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration are essential to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state upon which you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (within 90 days).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals; evaluate patients’ physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities.
• Establish a care plan and implement individualized treatment.
• Fabricate assistive devices and splints as needed to improve independence.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust plans; document progress and discharge planning.
