Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide exam, evaluation, and intervention services in a per diem, part‑time role at our Voorhees location. The position is on‑site, with responsibilities that include updating the plan of care and collaborating with the care team to improve rehab utilization.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed in New Jersey, and hold CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA‑accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey; CPR certification.
• For home care/early intervention, valid driver's license, registration and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Consults with medical, ancillary professionals and team to ensure quality patient care.
• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and implements plan of care modifications as needed.
• Maintains evaluations, patient records and documentation in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Utilizes aides and support staff effectively.
• Educates patient and family per age, condition and cultural needs.
