AdventHealth Ocala is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the care team to promote independence and functional gains.

The role requires 2+ years of acute OT experience, a Bachelor's degree (Master's/Doctorate preferred), BLS certification, and strong communication. Day shift, full-time, with opportunities for growth in a supportive hospital setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• Computer skills and good communication are required.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills are required.
• 2+ years of acute OT clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop OT treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Perform initial assessments and document progress per policy and billing requirements.
• Provide ADL training, home safety education, and hand therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and participate in discharge planning.
