Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, design, and adjust individualized treatment plans for diverse patients. You will document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and discharge when goals are met, following payer guidelines.

A Master's in Occupational Therapy and OT license (and BLS) are required, with strong communication and EMR proficiency encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred and OT licensure is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and standard office software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals, activities, and frequency.
• Documents progress accurately using measurable terminology and ensures timely reporting.
• Educates patients and caregivers and provides discharge recommendations when maximum benefit is achieved.
