Job summary

STHS McAllen is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will work as part of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit, ensuring adherence to facility policies and the philosophy of care.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in an acute care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• BLS upon hire and remain current thereafter
• Must be > 18 years of age by the date of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent patient-centered care under the direction of the registered nurse or physician.
• Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department.
• Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
