Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant at Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA to support patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit. This is a full-time role (36 hours per week) with a 7A–7P schedule and a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include personal care, vitals monitoring, documentation, and assists with transfers under nurse supervision. High school diploma or GED required; CNA preferred; BLS certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification and CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and basic nursing support according to unit standards.
• Assist with pre/post-op care, transfers, and patient positioning.
• Record intake/output, vital signs, and weights; document findings.
• Assist with admission, discharge, or transfer procedures and patient education.
