HCA Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Educator Acute Care in Irving, TX to lead evidence-based educational initiatives and onboarding for nursing and other clinical staff at the Medical City Las Colinas facility.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Director of Clinical Professional Development, designing competency programs, and driving outcomes through education that improves patient care and staff proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education or leadership preferred.
• RN license in state of practice or active compact license required.
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Up to 25% travel that may be required.

Responsabilités

• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare staff.
• Delivers orientation/onboarding to promote employee retention.
• Works with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluations.
• Assists in developing competency programs and audits.
• Creates educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Designs content delivery to encourage learner engagement and outcome achievement.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and supports research, EBP, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supports lifelong learning and staff skill maturation.
