Fmolhs is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct nursing care for high-acuity inpatients in collaboration with a physician. The role includes taking histories and physicals, admitting and discharging patients, and prescribing medications per protocol.

The NP will perform pre-surgery visits, provide discharge teaching, and participate in rounds with physicians. This position requires on-call duties and hospital-based care in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license and APRN credentials (ANCC).
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient care and hospital rounds.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct nursing care for high-acuity patients in collaboration with a physician.
• Perform histories and physicals, admit, and discharge patients; prescribe meds per protocol.
• Visit pre-op patients, conduct discharge teaching afterward.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care with medical treatment per protocol.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate care and accompany physicians on rounds.
• Be on-call and participate in hospital rounds as required.
