Houston Methodist is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Acute Care (ACLS) to deliver comprehensive patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, aligned with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and our interprofessional team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in nursing, a Texas RN license, and APRN Acute Care certification, with appropriate board certifications. You will participate in education, quality improvement, and patient-centered care within a high-performing hospital system.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing and graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program
• Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice or nurse practitioner clinical experience
• RN - Texas licensure and APRN Acute Care license, ANCC certification, BLS/ACLS, Prescriptive Authority and DEA license requirements

• Attend and participate in interprofessional rounds
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to manage patient care
• Educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments
• Prescribe medications as appropriate
