Requirements: Florida RN license (compact allowed; active FL RN within 60 days), Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS; acute care experience

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
