Job summary

Kearney-County-Health-Services seeks an Acute Care & Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support Med/Surg, Swing Bed, and ER patient flow. Night shifts are offered with weekend/holiday rotations; full-time, benefited positions available.

Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required within one year of employment. Base pay ranges $35–$45 per hour with night and weekend differentials; sign-on bonuses up to $15,000, tuition assistance, flexible scheduling, and a low nurse-to-patient ratio

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree or above in Nursing.
• Current RN license in Nebraska.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications within one year of employment if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care utilizing standards of clinical nursing practice.
• Collects and assesses patient data with input from patient, family, and health care providers.
• Establishes nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans.
• Prescribes and implements nursing interventions to carry out the plan of care.
• Maintains documentation in EMR/MAR and coordinates with the care team.
• Ensures patient safety and supports families during illness, surgery, or recovery.
