Job summary

Logan Health Shelby is seeking a CNA for a PRN, part-time, on-site role in Shelby, Montana. The CNA will provide basic patient care under supervision, monitor vitals, and document care while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

The position requires Montana CNA certification, BLS/RQI within 7 days, and a valid driver’s license. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with opportunities for scheduling flexibility and professional support.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality laws (HIPAA) applicable to provider-patient relationships.
• Driver’s license required and driving record must meet company policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assist in delivery of basic patient care under supervision.
• Communicate with leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Take vital signs and notify changes per protocol.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality per LH policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document care accurately.
• Maintain room and supply inventories, equipment, and safety standards.
• Support Medicare and regulatory compliance and participate in team priorities.
