Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care on Med/Surg, under supervision of licensed staff. The role focuses on comfort, monitoring, and aiding daily living activities in a high-quality, team-based environment.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, recording vitals, supporting patients and families, and ensuring accurate communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurses Aide by the State of Montana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions.
• Pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support for patients and families.
• Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks.
• Communicates with care team and directs calls as appropriate.
