Job summary

Community Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Certified Nursing Aide/Asst. (CNA) for acute care in Missoula, MT. The night shift (7p–7a) supports patients and collaborates with RN staff to ensure quality care.

In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly while maintaining clean and stocked rooms in a high-demand acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Montana CNA certification with active listing on the Montana Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Must have critical thinking and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Monitors vital signs and may take blood glucose measurements.
• Records intake and output data.
• Assists with ADLs including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
