Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Clinical Dietitian / Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for a full-time acute care hospital role, ideal for experienced hospital dietitians or new grads seeking hands-on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must be Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• Master's degree completed by Jan 2024 if eligible graduates; verification required.
• ACEND-accredited program completion required (Dietetics program, internship, or coordinated program).
• State licensure/certification required within 6 months if needed.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change.
• Mentor dietetic interns and new graduates.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement nutrition care.
• Manage nutrition care across discharge planning and DME ordering.
• Write and manage nutrition-related orders within scope.
