Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate data entry for patient demographics.
• Review charge entry data and process accurately.
• Capture charges for the Perioperative departments.
• Assign appropriate billing codes for medical services.
• Evaluate medical records for coding accuracy.

Skills

Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes

Good telephone etiquette

Organizational skills

Ability to work in a high-volume environment

Computer literacy

Typing skills 30-45 wpm
