Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking compassionate Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to assist with patient care on the 10N Acute Care Surgery stepdown unit. Under licensed nurse supervision, you’ll support bedside care, venipuncture, catheter care, specimen collection, and other duties.

Full-time night shift opportunities with orientation during daytime hours. Requires HS diploma or GED, and either RN program enrollment, recent Nursing Assistant training, or prior care partner

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist with day-to-day delivery of patient care.

• Serve as liaison for patient and family needs and education.
• Support unit operations by maintaining supplies and equipment.
