Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health seeks a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) in Camden, NJ. The APP works with Cooper intensivists to manage ICU patients, provides autonomous care within scope, and performs procedures as needed. Per diem hours vary by schedule.

Ideal candidates will have an acute care certification, master’s degree, and NJ APN or PA license; BLS required; adaptability for on-call/shift variability is essential.

Qualifications

• APN or PA with master’s degree; nationally certified.
• Experience in critical care and hospital medicine preferred.
• New graduates considered but must show motivation to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous patient care within APP scope and/or with supervising physician.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures; manage care plans.
• Collaborate with intensivists to manage ICU patients and participate in dual management when needed.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines and provide patient education.
