Job summary

Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking compassionate Admissions RNs to join a brand-new 80-bed inpatient unit serving adults 18+ and adolescents 13-17. You will review medical documentation, complete medication reconciliations, obtain admission orders, and coordinate admissions with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• At least one year of clinical or observational experience.
• Active nursing license in the state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for admissions and reconcile medications.
• Facilitate emergency transfers for patients.
• Review referrals and respond within policy timeframes.
• Communicate with facility staff and families about recommendations.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and pre-authorization.
• Maintain medical records and ensure payor authorization.
• Admit patients and complete forms.
