Concentra in California seeks an Acupuncturist to join the patient care team, delivering high‑quality acupuncture care and contributing to department collaboration and care outcomes.

The role involves taking detailed case histories, explaining diagnoses and treatments, inserting fine needles to stimulate energy flow, and assessing progress while adhering to licensing requirements and standards of practice. Graduation from an accredited program and current CA license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited acupuncture program in the United States.
• A combination of six to twelve months of directly related training and/or experience is typically required.
• Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice allopathic or osteopathic medicine in the state.

Responsibilities

• Taking a detailed case history, including health, lifestyle and history, and blood pressure when needed.
• Explaining the diagnosis and treatment to the patient and answering questions.
• Inserting fine needles into the skin to stimulate energy flow along meridians and the body’s healing response.
• Assessing patient progress through questioning and examination, and reviewing treatment plans.
• Performs other job duties as needed and/or assigned.
