Qualifications

• Acupuncture license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Master's Degree in Acupuncture.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in the practice of acupuncture with a minimum of 100 different patients and 500 patient visits per year; general health care focus.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment of client status and formulates a treatment care plan.
• Develops an acupuncture plan of care reflecting client goals across life span.
• Completes all required documentation the same business day of the client visit.
• Tailors education to meet age-specific and individual needs; consults with other professionals as needed.
• Facilitates equipment/supplies obtainment and protects client privacy.
• Participates in program development and community education; develops educational offerings.
• Maintains sanitation, hygiene, safety, and Universal Precautions.
