Job summary

VanZandt Controls is seeking an Actuator Service Technician to be based at our Farmington, NM location. The ideal candidate will install actuators for customer safety, perform electrical/pneumatic repairs, and assist with field service production activities.

The role requires 2+ years of valve actuation experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of valve actuation experience preferred.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical diagnostics and technical documents.
• Advanced knowledge of valve actuator design and function.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Installing actuators for customers to ensure their safe operation.
• Work with internal staff to provide technical repair on electric and pneumatic actuators using hand and power tools.
• Assist Field Service Production team to build valve automation packages as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times and adhere to company policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Position:

Actuator Service Technician. This will be based at our Farmington, NM location.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will primarily be responsible for duties which include, but are not limited to:

• Installing actuators for our customers to ensure their safe operation


• Other duties assigned may be to:

Hours:

M-F 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (may be subject to change with the needs of the business)
