Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with robotic or electromechanical actuation systems.
• Proficiency in Matlab and Python for testing, data analysis and control.
• Experience integrating sensors and tuning motion system controls.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, controls, dynamics and sensor tech.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development and reading C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on system-level deployment of actuators in the humanoid robot, including interfaces and performance.
• Define and execute design-validation and production-scale test plans for actuation subsystems.
• Incorporate sensing and feedback (position/torque) into real-time control architectures.
• Develop real-time diagnostic algorithms for fall-back strategies.
• Debug and analyze hardware/software integration issues; drive corrective actions.
• Tune controllers and characterize performance with system identification and data analysis.
