Job summary

Martello Re is seeking an Actuary to join the Modeling & ALM team, with primary responsibilities in developing and validating Prophet actuarial models. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, an FSA designation, and a minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience. Experience with annuity products and Prophet is essential. This role is mostly remote for candidates in the Eastern/Central United States, with minimal travel required. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience with Prophet modeling responsibility.
• Direct experience building and enhancing Prophet models for annuities.
• Prior experience in Life & Annuities insurance or reinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and review of standardized Prophet projections.
• Develop and maintain Prophet models for annuity reinsurance.
• Analyze and support asset-liability management metrics.

Skills

Advanced expertise in FIS Prophet

Understanding of annuity product mechanics

Programming languages (e.g., Python, R)

Microsoft Office skills

Analytical problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate complex concepts
