The Opportunity
As a dedicated Credentialed Actuary Lead, you will leverage broad actuarial knowledge in practice areas such as pricing, reserving, modeling, catastrophe risk, claims analytics, or product management to solve complex problems that impact business results at the line of business (LOB) level.

There are two available positions: one on the Forecasting Team and another on the Auto Indications Team.

If on the Forecasting Team, responsibilities include providing projections for forecast processes and communicating results to inform strategic decisions, as well as driving innovation across lines (Auto, Home, & Specialty) through analysis and communication.

If on the Auto Indications Team, responsibilities include process standardization, automation, and working with regional/state actuaries to implement indication results.

This position is remote within the continental U.S. with occasional travel.

What You'll Do
  1. Apply actuarial expertise to develop solutions for complex problems, including designing rate level indications, machine learning applications, catastrophe models, and reserving methodologies.
  2. Utilize advanced statistical techniques to support decision-making.
  3. Lead actuarial projects such as pricing methodologies or reporting tools.
  4. Provide technical expertise and influence stakeholders.
  5. Lead cross-functional initiatives and partner with IT for technical standards.
  6. Manage vendor relationships.
  7. Translate strategic goals into tactical solutions.
  8. Stay informed on market trends and develop strategies accordingly.
  9. Communicate data-driven insights effectively to diverse audiences, including executives.
  10. Manage risks in accordance with policies and procedures.
What You Have
  1. Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience.
  2. 8 years of actuarial or analytical experience with ACAS credential or 6 years with FCAS credential.
  3. Expertise in actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques.
  4. Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools.
  5. Experience communicating complex analyses to leadership.

Compensation range: $164,780 - $314,960.
