Job summary

CNA's Actuarial Summer Internship Program offers a 10-week, hands-on actuarial training in Chicago with a dedicated manager and real assignments across Pricing, Reserving, Portfolio Management or Long Term Care.

Interns receive learning sessions, professional development, and opportunities to advance to full-time roles after graduation. A hybrid schedule applies, with housing assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Sophomore standing required.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• GPA 3.25+ preferred.
• Interest in the Insurance Industry and pursuing an Actuarial career.
• Familiar with the Actuarial exam process.
• Strong organization, project management and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Chicago for the summer internship; full-time work from Chicago, IL or NYC.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
