As an Actuarial Specialist, you will deepen your knowledge of actuarial functions for P&C products and perform complex analyses vital to Nationwide’s success and customer protection.
This position may include participation in the P&C Actuarial Rotation Program, offering rotations across actuarial, analytics, and risk management teams over two-year periods. Details provided upon start.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to an Actuarial, Analytics, or Risk Management leader.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or similar.
License/Certification/Designation: Passed four or more actuarial exams, enrolled in the Actuarial Student Program.
Experience: Three or more years in actuarial roles.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills: Knowledge of actuarial functions, statistical methods, software, and databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office and programming languages; problem solving, customer focus, and adaptability.
Leadership skills and other competencies may be prioritized.
Staffing exceptions require approval.

The salary range is $77,000 - $159,000, with an expected starting range of $85,500 - $128,500, depending on various factors.
