What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct state product reviews and enhance manual rating plans
- Provide risk segmentation and pricing recommendations to support financial success
- Analyze results and present findings to internal teams
- Develop business relationships across multi-channel finance and assist in onboarding new associates
- Utilize data mining techniques to identify new relationships in data and explore predictive modeling
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a similar field
- Minimum of three years of actuarial experience
- Must have passed four or more actuarial exams and be enrolled in the Actuarial Student Program
- Proficiency in SQL, DataBricks, and R
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods of analysis and actuarial models
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in General Liability is highly preferred
- Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques
- Basic knowledge of various actuarial software and databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team settings
